
About Our Staff
Our camp is led by highly trained and experienced adult coaches who are dedicated to teaching the game the right way. They provide expert guidance and mentorship throughout the camp. Supporting them are local high school basketball players with both camp and team experience, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and relatable insight to help younger players learn and grow. Together, our staff creates a fun, supportive, and skill-focused environment for every camper.
Graham Jarman (Camp Co-Founder and Director)
Graham Jarman brings a wealth of experience and passion for the game to our program as camp director. A standout local high school player, Graham was a multiple-time all-star and league MVP before going on to start for five years at the University of Waterloo. During his university career, he was named a multiple-time all-star and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. For over 15 years, Graham has been a dedicated high school physical education teacher and coach, leading both boys’ and girls’ teams to several titles. He has also coached youth house league for Cambridge Basketball and competitive travel teams, always focusing on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Rebekah Jarman (Camp Co-Founder and Cubs Leader)
Rebekah Jarman is a talented local athlete who excelled in multiple sports during her high school years. After high school, Rebekah went to Brock and studied psychology. She is an experienced elementary coach who actively coaches both volleyball and basketball in the community, sharing her passion for sport with young athletes. Rebekah has also coached high school teams and has been a dedicated part of our camp since its founding in 2010. Her energy, experience, and commitment to developing athletes make her an invaluable member of our team.
John Howison (Camp Co-Founder and Jaguar Leader)
John Howison is a well-rounded athlete and dedicated educator with a lifelong passion for sports. A standout in both volleyball and basketball during high school, John earned multiple awards for his athletic achievements before continuing his basketball career at Queen’s University. With over 10 years of experience as a teacher and now serving as a principal in the Waterloo Region District School Board, John brings leadership and a deep understanding of youth development to every team he coaches. He has coached school and community teams throughout his adult life, fostering teamwork, skill development, and a love for the game in every athlete he works with.
Jeff Dunning (Panther Leader)
Jeff Dunning is a lifelong athlete and dedicated coach with deep roots in the Cambridge sports community. As a high school standout, Jeff excelled in soccer, volleyball, and basketball, earning all-star honors and multiple championships. He continued his athletic journey at both Laurier and Brock University, where he was a key contributor to several successful teams. After returning to Cambridge, Jeff has spent over 15 years teaching and coaching youth and high school basketball for both boys and girls. His teams have consistently achieved success, with many of his players going on to compete at the post-secondary level. Jeff’s experience, leadership, and passion for player development make him a respected and valuable member of our coaching team.
Jaclyn Wood-Salomon (Camp Trainer)
Jaclyn is a dedicated coach and athlete with a strong foundation in sports and physical education. A standout multi-sport athlete in high school in Cambridge, Jaclyn went on to study Physical Education at Brock University. With over 10 years of experience coaching and training athletes in Cambridge, Jaclyn has worked with athletes across multiple sports and at the high school level. Her passion for fostering athletic growth and her extensive coaching experience make her a vital asset to our program. Jaclyn’s commitment to player development and teamwork helps athletes reach their full potential.
